At the zoo, education is a wonderful adventure!
ORGANIZE YOUR SCHOOL TRIP TO MARTINIQUE ZOO
Discovering the major animal families and endangered species, studying their way of life and diet, or even the environment - these are all themes you'd like to tackle in a lively, concrete way with your students? On the program for your outing, the zoo offers daily educational activities organized by the animal keepers, as well as a cultural discovery with a visit to the ruins of the Habitation Latouche. And above all, a meeting with local and international biodiversity, to remind children of the importance of preserving it.
DISCOVER THE FLORA AND FAUNA
A veritable refuge for flora and fauna, in the heart of one of Martinique's oldest sugar dwellings, the zoo enables students to learn more about the issues involved in protecting nature.
MEET OUR ANIMAL HANDLERS
Every day, there are opportunities for discussion with the animal handlers. This is the perfect time for your students to ask questions and put theory into practice.
Soak up our heritage
The Habitation Latouche, dating back to 1643, is an opportunity to remind students of the history of Martinique and its rich economic heritage: sugar, manioc and indigo factories, the organization of a dwelling through the centuries, the eruption of 1902, architecture...
